As many as 30 veterinarians in West Java and Banten region attended the Animal Disease Investigation, Mitiigation and Response Training for Veterinarians held in Bogor, West Java on 31 October - 3 November 2023. The training is one of 22 batches of series of training held in collaboration between the Indonesia Australia Red Meat and Cattle Partnership (RMCP), the Indonesian Veterinary Faculty Association (AFKHI), facilitated by the School of Veterinary and Biomedic (SKHB) of IPB University.
In this training, the participants were invited to carry out investigation field practice in farm area in Bogor District where Foot and Mouth Disease (FMD) outbreak had surged in the region. With this training, the frontline animal workers would be better equipped in handling animal disease outbreaks in Indonesia.
