The Department of Agriculture and Water Resources aims to enhance the sustainability, profitability and competitiveness of Australia's agriculture, food, fisheries and forestry industries.

DAWR leads the development of policy advice and provides services to improve the productivity, competitiveness and sustainability of agriculture, fisheries, forestry and related Australian industries. DAWR also helps people and goods move in and out of Australia while managing the risks to the environment and animal, plant and human health.

DAWR maintains an international network of Agriculture Counsellors in key markets for Australian agricultural produce which includes Indonesia.


About the Position

The Program Officer has prime responsibility for the day-to-day management, monitoring and evaluation of the Indonesia-Australia Partnership on Food Security in the Red Meat and Cattle Sector (the Partnership). The position will also be required to assist in the broader portfolio of animal regulation and trade issues and will report to the Senior Policy and Coordination Officer.
